The film was shot on a cattle station owned by the Downer family in South Australia, near the Mount Lofty Ranges.

Cleland Conservation Park

The Wildlife Park is accessible by sealed road from both the South Eastern Freeway and Greenhill Road, and on foot on a formed but steep track from Waterfall Gully or Mount Lofty.

Mount Lofty

Access to the summit can be gained by road from the South Eastern Freeway at Crafers, or from the eastern suburbs via Greenhill Road.


Brown Hill, Mitcham

Brown Hill, along with Mount Lofty, Green Hill, Flagstaff Hill and Black Hill, was used by Colonel William Light as a trig station for the 1837 survey of the City of Adelaide.
