Jalal ud din Firuz Khilji

Born and raised in Afghanistan, Jalaluddin went to built his capital at Kilughari, a few miles from the city of Delhi, and completed the unfinished palace and gardens of Sultan Qaiqabad.

Nasiruddin Bughra Khan

At the same time, Nijamuddin forced Qaiqabad to advance with a massive army to confront his father.

Nijamuddin, the Prime Minister, appointed Nasiruddin's son, Qaiqabad, as the Sultan of Delhi.

Moreover, Sultan Ghiyasuddin Balban, following the Iranian tradition, named his grandsons as Kaikobad, Kaikaus, Kaikhusrau, Kaimurs etc.

Furthermore, Kaikobad was only 19 at the time of his accession to the throne of Delhi in 1288 AD.
