In 2000 he became a teacher of Islamic religion at Constantin Brâncuși School, Medgidia, then teaching at Mircea cel Bătrân High School, Traian High School and Ovidius High School in Constanţa.

He studied at the Edirne Theological High School from 1991 to 1994, then taking TÖMER classes to perfect his Turkish (1994-95), and in 1995 he was admitted to the 19 Mayis Faculty of Islamic Theology in Samsun, from which he graduated in 2000.
