1995 PBA All-Star Weekend

Lipovitan Slam Dunk Team Competition:Shell's tandem of Elmer Lago and Benjie Paras won over the Ginebra duo of Alexander Coles and Noli Locsin in the finals, finishing third is the San Miguel pair of Victor Pablo and rookie Bryant Punzalan.

1999 NBA draft

It is widely viewed as one of the best draft classes, with a total of nine future NBA All-Stars being chosen, as well as three winners of the NBA Sixth Man of the Year AwardManu Ginóbili, Jason Terry, and Lamar Odom.

2004 Pepsi 400

Former Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Byron Leftwich was the grand marshal for the race; NBA All-Star Tracy McGrady was originally the grand marshal, but was replaced by Leftwich due to scheduling conflicts.

2008 PBA All-Star Weekend

The events were held from April 24 to 27, 2008 at the West Negros University Gym, Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.

2009 PBA All-Star Weekend

This year's all-star game will be totally different from the past All-Star games, as this year's event will have 3 all-star games in different cities, particularly: Victorias, Negros Occidental (April 22), Panabo, Davao del Norte (April 24), and Quezon City (April 26).

2011 PBA All-Star Weekend

In September 2011, first Turkish NBA All-Star player Mehmet Okur of the Utah Jazz announced he would play for Türk Telekom, due to the 2011 NBA lockout.
