In the years that followed the Derneburg–Seesen railway from Derneburg – which again ran southwards – reached Bockenem in the Nette valley on 27 May 1887, Groß Rhüden on 1 October 1887 and finally the railway hub of Seesen on 1 May 1889.
Since then, Midi:Nette has released the records of Mana's follow-up project Moi dix Mois, and in 2002, Mana signed on the electronic duo Schwarz Stein, which disbanded in 2004, due to creative differences.

Initially it released most of the discography of the band Mana was in at the time, Malice Mizer, which went on an indefinite hiatus on 11 December 2001.
Nettetal is not a town itself, but a federation of villages that have developed around the river Nette, and the worked-out gravel pits that now form five lakes.

Frucade became also quite famous when, in the 1995 ORF Nette Leit Show (Nice People Show), it was offered by host Hermes Phettberg to guests as an alternative to eggnog.
