She was also a board member of Neuroscience Research Australia, one of Australia's largest research centres on the brain and nervous system, from 2007 to 2011 and a Fellow of the Law Faculty at the University of New South Wales.
In June 2009 the Minister for Science and Medical Research Jodi McKay opened the Prince Henry Wing extension.
