The Kloster Mariensee is an evangelic women's monastery in Mariensee, a district of Neustadt am Rübenberge close to Hannover.

The Grindau rises in the Viehbruch near Wedemark-Plumhof and flows initially westwards via Lindwedel, Adolfsglück, Hope, Esperke to the village of Grindau, where it discharges into the Leine.
He studied theology at Jena, was pastor at Harste, Hoya, also serving as superintendent there, and Neustadt am Rübenberge, and eventually became (1841) member of the Hanover Consistory of the Church of Hanover, and superintendent at Hanover.
