It received its premiere at Auditoro de Torrevieja, Spain by Nicolas Hodges and Valencia Youth Orchestra under the baton of Manuel Galduf.
Many composers have written works for Hodges to perform, notably Elliott Carter (Dialogues for Piano and Orchestra, 2003), Salvatore Sciarrino, James Clarke, Michael Finnissy, and Konrad Boehmer.
