Due to Chord and Tai's urging Dwayne became Night Thrasher and assembled a young team of superheroes named the New Warriors.

After revealing who he is and who he is working for, he then leads her to the New Warrior's Headquarters, where his boss is revealed to be someone dressed as Night Thrasher.

Catseye

The battle, held in the New Warrior's penthouse, came down to a game of numbers and Catseye scored one for her team by viciously defeating Night Thrasher, easily tearing through his reinforced armor.

Debrii

Debrii was introduced by the New Warriors' TV producer, Ashley, and so was the only member of Night Thrasher's revised team to have not been hand-picked by him.

Junzo Muto

Even without the Iron Fist, Junzo is a world class master martial artist, having defeated Iron Fist at all of their meetings as well as Night Thrasher and Steel Serpent, he is easily one of the most skilled practitioners of unarmed combat in the Marvel Universe.

He engaged Night Thrasher and his team in combat and would have won if the New Warriors had not retrieved Rand and beat a hasty retreat.

Incidentally, this was one of the sensei’s of the New Warriors leader Night Thrasher.

Killer Shrike

Killer Shrike was oddly absent when the team was blackmailed by Night Thrasher into providing relief for Rwandan refugees.
