A double-disc re-issue of the first two albums from the power metal band Nocturnal Rites, featuring previously unreleased demo tracks and acoustic/piano re-recordings of classic songs by members of the band's current line-up.
The album Grand Illusion, out in 2005, featured many special guests, including Jens Johansson (Stratovarius), Henrik Danhage (Evergrey), Kristoffer W. Olivius (Naglfar), Stefan Elmgren (HammerFall), and, more surprisingly, the Swedish world champion of cross-country skiing (three times world cup gold winner), Per Elofsson who comes from the same town as the band, Umeå.
In 2005 he made an unexpected appearance on the album Grand Illusion by the Heavy metal band Nocturnal Rites, playing guitar on one song.
