Ally's Tartan Army

Ally's Tartan Army was a novelty record released by Scottish comedian Andy Cameron on the Klub Records (KRL) label to mark the Scottish football team's qualification for the 1978 World Cup in Argentina.

Late in that year, he wrote the lyrics for and produced the Chicago Bears' novelty record, "The Super Bowl Shuffle".

Trevor and Simon

In 1990 the pair also collaborated with singer Donovan on a novelty single release of his 1968 hit Jennifer Juniper; adopting their roles as 1960s-style folk duo The Singing Corner, the pair made spoken interjections throughout Donovan's performance, concluding with Trevor having to explain to Simon that the singer was not in fact Jason Donovan.

Venus and the Razorblades

The band put out a novelty single called "Punk-A-Rama" on the independent label Bomp! Records trying to capitalize on the popularity of the punk rock genre of the late 1970s and then broke up.
