Valladolid is an industrial city and it is a municipality in north-central Spain, upon the Rio Pisuerga and within the Ribera del Duero region.
It is bounded on the north-west by La Bureba, north-east by the Páramos comarca, south-west by the Arlanza comarca, south-east by the Sierra de la Demanda, on the east by the Odra-Pisuerga comarca and west by the Montes de Oca.
Lands in the basins of Odra and Wisła were then taken by Polish tribes who repopulated these abandoned areas and created their own tribal organizations.
At Skolwin, there is a remarkable power line crossing of Odra river, which is part of 220 kV powerline Police-Morzyczyn.
