At the age of seven, Fletcher started going to Saturday morning drama sessions at the Oldham Theatre Workshop and was first seen on television on a Saturday Disney report when he was starring as Charlie in Charlie Is My Darling, which he also performed in a special show at the London Palladium.
Le Vell began his acting career in the Oldham Theatre Workshop after taking an interest in amateur dramatics while at school.
At this time he was also a popular and leading actor at Oldham Theatre Workshop, under the guidance of David Johnson.
