On the 15th he scored his first goal for the club, against Everton de Viña del Mar in a 5–1 success (also away), coming off the bench at Estadio Francisco Sánchez Rumoroso in Coquimbo; nine days later he also found the net against Oriente Petrolero of Bolivia, a in 2–2 home draw (2–3 aggregate loss).
He spent the majority of the 2001-02 season with the Scottish club Ross County before his career took him to the Bolivian team Oriente Petrolero.
In 2000-2001 he had a spell in Bolivia with Oriente Petrolero before returning to Argentina to play for San Martín de San Juan, in 2007 the club secured promotion to the Argentine Primera.
