Goldeneye Hotel and Resort

Palm Pictures is an entertainment company founded by Blackwell.

It is owned by Chris Blackwell, a philanthropist and entertainment entrepreneur who founded Island Records, Palm Pictures and Island Outpost, a company that owns and operates his boutique hotels.

Porfirio Piña

Between January 2001 and May 2002, Porfirio joined Palm Pictures/Ryko and later Latino Music Corp where he was the Marketing Director, developing strategic sales, marketing and promotion plans for Carlos Manuel y Su Clan (Palm/Ryko), Fernando Villalona (LARAS & NARAS GRAMMY Nominee), Felix D'Oleo (LARAS GRAMMY Nominee), Angelito Villalona, Ramón Orlando and Swing Divino amongst others.

Xploding Plastix

Their first album, Amateur Girlfriends Go Proskirt Agents, was released in 2001 on Beatservice, and re-issued in 2004 by Palm Pictures.

They made three albums for Palm Pictures Songs From The Tin(2000) and Serious (2003) and a collection of their remix work for other artists Remixes which featured their interpretations of songs by Femi Kuti, Luciano, Bebel Gilberto, Sly and Robbie and others.

Gerry Owens

After spending some time in London and playing in a series of bands, he returned to Dublin to form Skindive, who were quickly signed by Chris Blackwell (founder of Island Records) to his Palm Pictures label.
