He dominated the early stages of the 2008 Formula Three Euroseries season, finishing in the top four of the first eight races of the championship including a win at Pau to lead by 15 points over his rivals.
He did lie in fifth place at one point in the season, having won on the street circuit at Pau but tailed off to be thirteenth in the championship.

The 1950 Pau Grand Prix was a Non-Championship Formula One motor race held on 10 April 1950 at the Pau circuit, in Pau, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, France.
The season consisted of eight double-header events, beginning on May 16 at Pau and ending on September 20 at Imola.
He started racing at Southport sands on the Lancashire coast in 1932 moving on to circuit racing driving an MG, also racing in Bugatti's and Alfa Romeo's at Donnington and throughout Europe at Pau and Deauville in Grand Prix gaining wins at Brooklands in 1936.
In the winter of 1978, Stirano designed an evolution of the old Osella FA2 for the 1979 season: this new car allowed Eddie Cheever to win races at Silverstone, the Pau Grand Prix and Zandvoort.
