Giuseppe Coniglio, known as U poeta, (Pazzano (RC), December 2, 1922 – Catanzaro, March 13, 2006), was an Italian poet who wrote in Pazzanese, a variety of the Calabrian dialect (language).
Italian people from Pazzano since the 1980s have organised an annual Santo Salvatore's fiest, with a statue very similar to the original that is taken from the catholic church of Narraweena around the suburb and back.
The Stilaro (in antiquity the Elleporus; in Calabrian dialect Stilaru) is an Italian river, which runs through Bivongi, Pazzano and Stilo in the Province of Reggio Calabria, Calabria and, along with the river, gives its name to the Vallata dello Stilaro Allaro, the valley through which it flows.
