In March 2012 the journal published a special issue on the Olympic Legacy to explore some of the issues surrounding the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games.

PPH’s most highly cited paper in 2010 was by Mark Dooris (University of Central Lancashire), ‘Holistic and sustainable health improvement: the contribution of the settings-based approach to health promotion’.
The RSPH publishes two peer reviewed and much respected journals, Perspectives in Public Health and Public Health, both of which have rapidly improving impact factors.
