In 2009 Ulrich made a guest appearance, together with Brendan Perry, on the Piano Magic album Ovations playing percussion and hammered dulcimer.

The band then toured Europe and the UK, including performing at Belgium’s Rhaaa Lovely Festival, where they played alongside Deerhoof, 65daysofstatic, Piano Magic, Grails and 31knots.


Icebreaker International

New Yorker Alexander Perls and Londoner Simon Break met each other while Perls was attending school in London, eventually joining up with Glen Johnson in the musical collective, Piano Magic.
