The station is working with the organisers of other festivals, including the World Pipe Band Championships, Piping Live and the Merchant City Festival and many folk and traditional music events throughout Scotland and Ireland.
While in Scotland with 30 members aged 9 to 18, they were featured performers at the opening of the Piping Live! Festival in George Square, and the international parade of bands sponsored by the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association on Friday before the Championships.
The festival won Event of The Year at the Scottish Traditional Music Awards in 2008 and in 2010 Eve Muirhead was named the festival's ambassador in an effort to reach out to a younger audience.
