Nicaise de Keyser (26 August 1813 Zandvliet - 17 July 1887 Antwerp), was a Belgian painter who has his talent discovered by the painter Joseph Jacobs who got him a place in the Antwerp art academy.
Nicaise et Delcuve was a Belgian metal engineering company based in La Louvière, Belgium.
His connection with the Jacobin party caused him to be condemned to deportation after the Plot of the Rue Saint-Nicaise, but Napoleon Bonaparte, having been persuaded to read his translation of the Eclogues of Virgil, struck his name off the list.
He became a monk with his brother Simon at the monastery of St. Nicaise, also in Reims, sometime after 1111.
