Aleksandar Đuričić (Cyrillic: Александар Ђуричић; Anglicised: Aleksandar Djuricic; also known as: Ash) (born on 1 October 1982 in Požarevac) is a young Serbian novelist and a playwright.
It is mostly situated in the autonomous province of Vojvodina, while the eparchy also include a small south-western part of Banat that belongs to the City of Belgrade as well as village of Ostrovo that belongs to the city of Požarevac.
Nikola Ignjatijević (Serbian Cyrillic: Никола Игњатијевић; born December 12, 1983 in Požarevac) is a Serbian footballer who plays as left back for Ukrainian club Zorya Luhansk.
A delegation of South African businessmen visited Serbia in January 2012 to finalize negotiations on the construction of a mineral water bottling plant in the vicinity of Požarevac, on investing in several mines in eastern and southern Serbia and on buying agricultural complexes in Vojvodina.

Via Militaris or Via Diagonalis was an ancient Roman road, starting from Singidunum (today the Serbian capital Belgrade), passing by Danube coast to Viminacium (mod. Požarevac), through Naissus (mod. Niš), Serdica (mod. Sofia), Philippopolis (mod. Plovdiv), Adrianopolis (mod. Edirne in Turkish Thrace), and reaching Constantinople (mod. Istanbul).
Also inside the complex there is monument dedicated to soldiers of the Red Army who died during the fight to liberate Požarevac.
The channel was founded by Dragana Mirković and her husband Toni Bijelić, using facilities from the previously defunct SAT TV station, also located in Požarevac.

The river flows parallel to the Velika Morava river as its satellite flow, in the Morava's floodplain, so there are no settlements on the Resavica itself, but several large villages are located in its valley (Porodin, Žabari, Simićevo, Aleksandrovac Požarevački, Vlaški Do, Poljana), all of them located on the Požarevac-Svilajnac road, parallel to the river, but few kilometers to the east.
It is situated on the Ralja river, on both the railway Belgrade-Požarevac and the highway Belgrade-Niš, 44 km southeast of Belgrade and 15 km south of the municipal seat of Grocka.
