Graduating in Portuguese Language and Literature from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo, he began his career writing professionally for theatre groups in 1987.
Ana Claudia de Oliveira, from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo, was elected president during the congress held in Sao Paulo in 1996, and Paolo Fabbri, from the University of Bologna, was elected president in Siena in 1998.
Mercenárias was founded in São Paulo in 1982, by Sandra Coutinho, Rosália Munhoz and Ana Machado, at the time college students: Rosália studied Psychology at the PUC-SP, while Sandra and Ana were classmates at the ECA-USP, where they studied Journalism.
She also had a Fellowship of CNPq as a teacher and researcher at the Department of Communication and Body Arts at the Pontifical Catholic University, São Paulo, Brazil from 2002–03, and was invited to teach the post-graduate course Creation of Images and Sounds on the Electronic Media, São Paulo, SENAC, from 2002–05.
Ferraz Jr. is currently a consultant for the Coordination of Improvement of Higher Education Personnel, professor at the Autonomous University of Law, professor at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo and professor of the Department of Philosophy of Law, Faculty of Law, University of São Paulo, Largo San Francisco, where his predecessor in the chair was Prof. Goffredo da Silva Telles Jr.
