Clube Esportivo Aimoré, commonly known as Aimoré, is a Brazilian football club based in São Leopoldo, Rio Grande do Sul state.

28 July 1950: a Panair do Brasil Lockheed L-049 Constellation registration PP-PCG operating flight 99 from Rio de Janeiro-Galeão to Canoas Air Force Base struck power lines and crashed on a hill after an aborted landing and while holding in bad weather near São Leopoldo.
Born in São Leopoldo, Rio Grande do Sul, Lacerda began his career with local Ulbra, and continued to appear in his native state until 2008, representing Brasil de Farroupilha and Sapucaiense.
São Leopoldo, in the neighboring state of Rio Grande do Sul, founded in 1824 by the first pioneer German speaking families to settle permanently in Brazil, is officially considered the cradle of German-Brazilian culture (see the Riograndenser Hunsrückisch German language of South America).
