Pupils have also performed in the Schools Proms in the Royal Albert Hall.
In July 2000 Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra was invited to perform in the Welsh Proms in Cardiff, and has performed in each subsequent Welsh Proms season with guest resenters such as Brian Blessed, Sarah Jane Honeywell, Aled Jones and Dave Benson Phillips.
As a pianist, he has accompanied soloists such as Dame Janet Baker, Larry Adler and John Tomlinson, and his solo career has included appearances at the Proms and performances with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Detroit Symphony Orchestra.
They have played at main events such as Merchistoun Hall Fete; The Classic Cars Show in Waterlooville and the Proms put on by the Horndean Twinning for the guests from Horndean's twinned town, Aubergenville.
Festival appearances have included Bad Kissingen, Belfast, Cervantino, La Grange de Meslay, Husum Piano Rarities, Lanaudière, Ravinia, La Roque d’Anthéron, Ruhr Piano, Halifax (Nova Scotia), Singapore Piano, Snape Maltings Proms, Mänttä Music Festival, Turku and Ottawa Strings of the Future, as well as the Chopin Festivals of Bagatelle (Paris), Duszniki and Valldemossa.
Since his return at the 2008 Proms season, Perahia has been continually active on the concert scene.
The Los Angeles Proms have been attended by High School Musical's Monique Coleman and Twilight's Anna Kendrick.
As a concert singer, she has appeared at the BBC Proms and the Edinburgh Festival; at a Gala Concert to celebrate the opening of the Welsh Assembly in the presence of the Queen and the Prince of Wales; and in Bremen with Andrea Bocelli and the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
The music from both films was broadcast at 3pm on Saturday 1 September 2007 at the Cadogan Hall as a Proms Matinee concert, narrated by Samuel West.
