The Joint Commander Gulf Forces (based in the United Kingdom at RAF High Wycombe) was Air Chief Marshal Sir Patrick Hine 1 October 1990—31 March 1991, and Air Chief Marshal Sir Michael Graydon from 31 March 1991.
There is a large bunker at the site near, the existence of which is officially classified, but which nevertheless is clearly visible on satellite photographs (e.g. Google Earth).

In addition to the Hack Green installations, the museum houses Ballistic Missile Early Warning System equipment from RAF High Wycombe, as well as decommissioned nuclear weapons from various sites.
DASA also has personnel co-located with each of the three Armed Services at RAF High Wycombe with HQ Air Command for the RAF, HMS Excellent, Portsmouth with the Navy Command Headquarters for the Royal Navy and Andover with Army Headquarters for the British Army.
The RAF has full-time officers serving in communications, notably at 7644's headquarters unit, Media & Communication Group at Air Command, RAF High Wycombe.
