As a fluent Irish-speaker his first All-Ireland final commentary was on RTÉ 2 in 1981, because the station then had a policy of using the two channels for commentaries in both English and Irish.

Less than Perfect

The show has previously been aired on RTÉ TWO in Ireland and on Comedy Central in the UK and Ireland, although it is not currently being shown on either of these two networks.

Aired in 2005 on RTÉ Two as a part of its Monday-night comedy slot, it showed Bishop's antics as he travelled to impoverished areas of Ireland, such as Ballymun in Dublin, Tuam in Co.
