Haynes then made her Test debut in the one-off match at New Road, Worcester.

Upon the fall of opener Leah Poulton, Haynes came in at No. 3 to join Shelley Nitschke and scored 26 from 45 balls, hitting four fours before being bowled by Holly Colvin.

Haynes was selected for the 2010 World Twenty20 in the West Indies but spent almost the entire tournament watching from the sidelines, playing in only one warm-up match.
