In 1996 he closed the concert Tribute to V8 during Metal Rock Festival, held in Estadio Obras of Buenos Aires, along with their former colleagues Osvaldo Civile (Horcas), Gustavo Rowek (Rata Blanca) and Miguel Roldán (who takes Iorio's place at the bass) plays the old hits of V8.
Some of the acts performing in the 2007 edition included Andrew Tosh, Gondwana, Ratos de Porao, Hereford, Babasónicos, Attaque 77, Las Pelotas, Rata Blanca, Kapanga, Intoxicados, Las Pastillas del Abuelo, Callejeros, Carajo, Almafuerte, La 25, Los Pericos and others.

Outside of Argentina, he is considered one of the most important exponents of Rock en Español, specially in the 1980s when he along with Charly Garcia, Soda Stereo, Enanitos Verdes, Virus, Sumo, Fabulosos Cadillacs, Rata Blanca, and many more bands became international stars in the so-called "Argentine Invasion" ("La Ola Argentina") of rock music that swept Latin America and parts of North America and Europe.
In 1989, Hugo Bistolfi joined the band and then Saúl Blanch left, to be replaced by Adrián Barilari.
