The son of Latino Condivi and Vitangela de' Ricci, Ascanio Condivi was a nobleman born in the town of Ripatransone in the Marche.
In that year, he invaded the March and granted privileges to Osimo, San Ginesio, Ripatransone, and Recanati.
He will be succeeded by Bishop-elect Reverend Monsignor Carlo Bresciani, who up until now had been serving as a member of the clergy of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brescia, where he was Rector of the Diocesan Seminary.
