Rocky Votolato

After his parents were divorced, his mother remarried and moved the family to the Pacific Northwest in 1991, where he attended Inglemoor High School in Kenmore, Washington.

Cary has performed shows/festivals with or opened for: Rocky Votolato, Of Montreal, Owen, Margot and The Nuclear So and So's, Joshua James, Tristan Prettyman, Citizen Cope, Isaac Hayden, Graham Colton, Pedro The Lion, Tyler Hilton, Ryan Shupe & the RubberBand, Raining Jane, Five Times August, among others, and has played concerts at numerous colleges including Brescia University.

Sharks Keep Moving

The first recorded output for Sharks Keep Moving came in the form of a split 7” with fellow Seattle natives The Kentucky Pistol (which featured brothers Sonny and Rocky Votolato, later members of Bugs In Amber and Waxwing, respectively).

Henderson and Dan Dean also played as backing musicians on Rocky Votolato’s second full length album, Burning My Travels Clean.

On January 29, 2013, Kalnoky announced that he would perform 7 shows as part of The Revival Tour alongside Chuck Ragan, Dave Hause of The Loved Ones, Jenny Owen Youngs, Rocky Votolato, Jenny O., and Tim McIlrath of Rise Against.
