On November 28, 2012 The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) announced that it had filed a complaint against Sledziejowski, charging him with defrauding three customers of more than $4 million through an alleged scheme, carried on primarily outside the securities firm TWS Financial, LLC, involving converting client funds to the use of an entity under his control while allegedly providing inaccurate account statements to his customers.
