Also in 2013, the drama school's profile was raised by several graduates who shot to fame in the United States including Lake Bell and Sam Palladio as well as by Evening Standard Awards for both Richard Eyre as Best Director for his production of Ghosts at the Almeida Theatre and Rosalie Craig for Best Musical Performance for The Light Princess at the National Theatre.
Later he taught acting extensively in drama schools including Rose Bruford College, East 15 Acting School, ALRA and the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts where he was Head of Acting.

A Lagosian by birth, he studied acting at the Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama, earning a diploma in 1965, after which he appeared in many shows on the London Stage, including the Royal Court Theatre production of Wole Soyinka's The Lion and the Jewel, and Shakespeare's Macbeth, with the late Sir Alec Guinness as Macbeth and the late Simone Signoret as Lady Macbeth.
The daughter of a bank manager, she attended Sutton Coldfield Grammar School and was an amateur actress, having trained in the Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama, before appearing in repertory theatre in Sheffield and York.
