The Animal in You is a 1995 non-fiction book by Roy Feinson, which posits a biological basis as to why people tend to exhibit personality traits similar to animal species.
Pioneering work in this field was conducted in the 1990s by California mosaic artist Roy Feinson, who because of its underlying similarities to 19th century impressionism coined the term Impressionist Mosaics.
One of the original pioneers in the field of photographic mosaics, Feinson was the featured artist for Disneyland's 50th anniversary celebration in 2006 where he created the largest photographic mosaic ever made, spanning over 10,000sq ft and featuring live performers carrying photographs of themselves and other cast members.
