Noke's greatest achievement was the creation of a range of experimental transmutation glazed wares that are at best as good as anything produced at Sèvres, Copenhagen, Dresden or even in the Far East.
He received a scholarship in 1956 for study at The Royal Copenhagen Porcelain Manufactory in Copenhagen.

Shortly after opening his own office, he received several commissions to do interior design at some of the premier addresses in Copenhagen, Bing & Grøndahl's shop on Amagertorv (1946), now housing Royal Copenhagen, and Svend Schaumann's florist's shop on Kongens Nytorv (1948).
The core of the collection are several pieces of Meissen porcelain, but also features pieces of Sèvres porcelain, Royal Copenhagen porcelain and Russian Imperial porcelain.
Among Ritterband's artistic works are several candlesticks for the Holmegaard, a porcelain series Musica for Royal Copenhagen, tablecloths from Georg Jensen Damask and blankets for Egetæpper, a Danish blanket company, but she has also designed larger works of art; there are a series of stainless steel sculptures in the former municipality of Farum.
His works include the Royal Copenhagen Porcelain Manufactury (now Porcelænshaven) in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen.
