Over the years toured several times with bands such as Sparta, Mudhoney, Run Run Run, Division of Laura Lee, and very often with the Murder City Devils.
After a seven-year hiatus that began in 2005, Orgy resurfaced with original member and vocalist Jay Gordon, along with a new lineup featuring guitarists Carlton Bost and Ashburn Miller of Deadsy, bassist Nic Speck of Run Run Run and drummer Jamie Miller of Snot and TheStart.
"Bedbugs and Ballyhoo" and "Over You" were produced by Laurie Latham and "Run, Run, Run", "Paint It, Black" and "Friction", which were recorded live at the Karen in Gothenburg for the Swedish National Radio programme Bommen, were produced by Lars Aldman.
He sang lead vocals on several charted Top 40 singles, including "Run Run Run" by The Third Rail (1966), "Yummy Yummy Yummy" and three others by The Ohio Express (1968 - 1969), "Quick Joey Small" by Kasenetz-Katz Singing Orchestral Circus (1968), and the record that best showcased his rapid speech delivery, "Life Is a Rock (But the Radio Rolled Me)" by Reunion (1974).
