Séraphin-Médéric Mieusement (Gonneville-la-Mallet 1840- Blois 1905) is a French architectural photographer specialized in monument historique.
The museum also collects valuable violins, including 5 Antonio Stradivaris, 2 Guarneri del Gesu, Nicolo Amati, Jacob Stainer, Amati, Rogeri, Joseph Guarneri Filius Andrea, Seraphin, Gagliano and Guadagnini.
He also worked for Arcon Canada as a supervisor, for Canada Post as an entrepreneur and for Cité-Amérique as a supervisor for the technical production for the movie Séraphin: un homme et son péché that was filmed in Mandeville in 2002.
In October 2007 he conducted « les Etudes d’après Séraphin » by W. Rihm, for the tenth anniversary of the ZKM, with the Ensemble für Neue Musik of the Musikhochschule Karlsruhe, and the Ballet of the Staatstheater of Karlsruhe.
After 1909, the two brothers ended their collaboration, and Joseph Boex took to signing his works as J.-H. Rosny aîné (J. H. Rosny Sr.), while his brother Seraphin used the name J.-H. Rosny jeune.
