The original three judges for the series have been Yang Hyun-suk, founder of YG Entertainment and former member of the popular South Korean act Seo Taiji & Boys, Park Jin-young, singer/song-writer and founder of JYP Entertainment, and Korean pop icon BoA, from SM Entertainment.
Up till 2012 he was signed under Castle J Entertainment, and on 19 September, it was announced that he has signed exclusive contracts with SM C&C, a subsidiary of SM Entertainment, along with Kim Byung-man.
Founder and CEO of SM Entertainment, Lee Soo-man, was originally planned to have represented SM but was replaced by BoA, in which PD Park Sung-hoon explains having a female singer would fit in with the other two CEOs and producers for a different synergy effect than three CEOs and producers.
Then, a month after the performance, SM Entertainment announced that both Donghae and Eunhyuk will promote the song on music shows: Music Bank on 16 December, Music Core on 17 December and Inkigayo on 18 December.
