Bandar al-Hazmi

After moving out of Bandar's place, Hanjour lived in several apartments in Tempe, Mesa and Phoenix.

The hijack pilot of American Airlines Flight 77 Hani Hanjour lived with Bandar in Phoenix, Arizona for several months starting in late November 1997, allegedly after the two met while studying English at the same school in Florida.

Haifa bint Faisal

Although there are still many questions about al-Bayoumi and Basnan, the 9/11 Commission Report asserts, in footnote 122, that the hijackers al-Midhar and al-Hazmi did not receive any funding from them: "We have found no evidence that Saudi Princess Haifa al Faisal provided any funds to the conspiracy, either directly or indirectly.".

Al-Bayoumi had several intriguing connections to two of the hijackers: Khalid al-Mihdhar and Nawaf al-Hazmi.

Hijackers in the September 11 attacks

Khalid al-Mihdhar and Nawaf al-Hazmi were both experienced and respected jihadists in the eyes of al-Qaeda leader, Osama bin Laden.

Nawaf al-Hazmi and Hani Hanjour, attended the Dar al-Hijrah Islamic Center in Falls Church, Virginia in early April 2001 where the Imam Anwar al-Awlaki preached.

The first hijackers to arrive in the United States were Khalid al-Mihdhar and Nawaf al-Hazmi, who settled in the San Diego area in January 2000.
