3 unusual facts about Sara Dylan

Bob Dylan and The Band 1974 Tour

Dylan's wife, Sara, was present at those final shows, and during the final show of the tour (which took place on Valentine's Day), Dylan broke from the standard setlist to play Sara's favorite song, "Mr. Tambourine Man".

Changing of the Guards

Noted Dylan expert Michael Gray, author of The Bob Dylan Encyclopedia, commented that "Changing of the Guards" is a thorough description of Dylan's journey, from the beginning of his musical career, about sixteen years prior (the opening line is "Sixteen years"), through his marriage and divorce with Sara Dylan, up to his soon-to-be-announced conversion to Christianity.

Idiot Wind

While Dylan claims that the song's lyrics have no relation to the strained situation of his marriage to Sara Dylan, his son Jakob Dylan has stated about the album in interviews that "The songs are my parents talking".
