Rajčević's most recent works, painted during 2008 and 2009, are mostly inspired by themes and concepts from books and plays of the English playwright, Sarah Kane.

Speaking about the Free Theatre's first production, Sarah Kane's 4.48 Psychosis, its founder Nikolai Khalezin observes that Kane's play "'is about a woman's psychological decay, homosexuality and suicide," and that, while "There's no politics in the play," in it "there is something that is threatening to a dictatorship –– open conversation. The dictatorship says: "We have no suicide, no alcoholism, no drug abuse.

The troupe's first production was 4.48 Psychosis, by the late British playwright Sarah Kane (1971–1999), which deals with "depression and suicide –– two themes that are taboo in state-controlled Belarusian art."

Among Tinker's notable reviews was his response to Sarah Kane's Blasted, in which he reported being "disgusted ... by a play which appears to know no bounds of decency yet has no message to convey by way of excuse" and which he found "utterly without artistic merit".

He's appeared in many theater productions since including Sarah Kane's Phaedra's Love, Brian Friel's Lovers, Jean Genet's Deathwatch and Arnold Wesker's The Kitchen.
It also contributes to university theatre, with the Bailey Theatre Company producing Sarah Kane's 4.48 Psychosis in the Epiphany term of 2009 and Arthur Miller's The Crucible in the Michaelmas term of 2008, as well as the annual Summer Shakespeare.
McQuarrie trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (RSAMD) in Glasgow and soon became a highly popular actor amongst Edinburgh theatre goers before moving to London where he has played prominent roles in more controversial, new dramas by playwrights such as Sarah Kane and Anthony Neilson, amongst others.
Some of his stage work includes Anton in Marius von Mayenburg's Eldorado, Treplyov in Chekhov's The Seagull, Carl in Sarah Kane's Cleansed (Horn award nomination for Best New Actor), Oswald in Ibsen's Ghosts, Darren in Gary Owen's The Drowned World a.o.
