Out of the 37 players competing from 25 countries in the Individual Singles, Raaj Mohan finished 21st with two wins and Sathwik Rai finished 29th with one win.

The present team consisting of Venkat Vejju, Nirup Shetty, Ashish Mehta and captain Sathwik Rai represented India at the 2012 World Championships in Santo Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
