Mollepata or Mullipata (Quechua mulli Peruvian pepper tree pata elevated place / edge, bank (of a river), shore) is one of eight districts of the province Santiago de Chuco in Peru.

Towards its eastern end, open steppe shrubs prevail (Senecio spp, Schinus molle, Nassauvia ulicina) with Adesmia boronioides and scanty broom sedge (Andropogon argenteus).
Pink pepper from Piper nigrum is distinct from the more-common dried "pink peppercorns", which are actually the fruits of a plant from a different family, the Peruvian pepper tree, Schinus molle, or its relative the Brazilian pepper tree, Schinus terebinthifolius.
