He began his teaching job as an assistant to Sergei Dorensky and as a concertmaster of the Children's Music School number 60 in Moscow.

After graduating from high school with honors, in 1982 he entered the Moscow Conservatory (class of Sergei Dorensky).
Dorensky was awarded a Gold Medal at the 5th World Festival of Youth and Students and the 1957 Rio de Janeiro Competition's 2nd Prize, which allowed him to perform throughout Western Europe and America.
