The first screening of Hoppa högst at a theater was in Sergels torg, Stockholm on 23 March 1989.
During this period, the exhibition was rebuilt while a minor temporary exhibition was available in Kulturhuset at Sergels torg.
In Stuttgart they could conclude that having pedestrians on a lower level required escalators, and in Vienna the pedestrians hall Opernpassage gave them the inspiration to replace the central open space at Sveaplatsen with a round restaurant with glass walls, an aesthetic device intended to give the square an architectonic dignity.
The exhibition takes you to four different locations in Stockholm and tells their story; Slussen, Östermalmstorg, Kungsträdgården and Sergels torg.
However, this "temporary solution" lasted for a near thirty years until the autumn of 1990, when all activity finally moved to the present location at Sergels torg.

Stockholm City Theatre is situated in the heart of Stockholm, in the building commonly known as Kulturhuset; the large lighted glass building at Sergels torg (Sergel's Square), near the Sergel fountain and the Stockholm City roundabout.
For the construction bricks were taken from a monastery, St. Clare's Priory near today's Sergels torg (Sankta Klara kloster) destroyed in 1527 and churches from the ridges surrounding the city was used.
