Sergio Apraham Markarián Abrahamian (born November 1, 1944 in Montevideo) is a Uruguayan football coach of Armenian descent.

After season as the third-choice goalkeeper of the club, Vargas was loaned to Iberia Los Ángeles of the Chilean Tercera División in June 2008, returning in January of the next year and remaining one semester, in where he won the 2009 Clausura Tournament with the coach Sergio Markarián, being Emanuel's first professional honour.
In June 2011, Ruidíaz was called up by the coach Sergio Markarián to the Copa América held in Argentina, being member of the squad that finished in the tournament's third place, after of the 4–1 victory over Venezuela, playing one game for the contest against the Chilean football team.
