Mr Butler served as Director of Studies until his death in 1978 when he was succeeded by Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki, third-generation psychic, mediator, author, lecturer and workshop facilitator.

In 1965 she became associated with Walter Ernest Butler, and with Gareth Knight and the Helios Course in Practical Qabalah which, in 1971, became the foundation of Servants of the Light School.
