In the 2012–13 season GOŠK has made big success in the Croatian Cup reaching the quarter-finals where he was stopped by Lokomotiva Zagreb, in the first game played on Lapad, Lokomotiva was celebrated victory with a 1-0 while in the second leg at the Maksimir with no goals.
After being 1–0 down at half-time, Cindrić came on as a substitute for Stevan Luburić and scored three goals in the 75th, 83rd and 87th minute at what is today Stadion Maksimir.
On 13 August 2013, Robbie Williams performed a concert in front of 45 000 people, featuring Olly Murs as his opening act, as a part of Take the Crown Stadium Tour (2013).

After World War II and the dissolution of Građanski it was taken over by NK Dinamo Zagreb, who played there until 1948 when the club moved to their present-day home at Stadion Maksimir.
