A Street in Brittany is a painting dated 1881 by the artist Stanhope Forbes.
Scholarships in composition are awarded annually in his name to students under 25, and his portrait, by Cornish painter Stanhope Forbes, is held by the Sydney Conservatorium to which he devoted so much of his working life.
In 1939 the artist Stanhope Forbes was commissioned to paint a portrait of Jenkins on oil and canvas.
The exhibition of A Fish Sale on a Cornish Beach also brought notoriety to Forbes and the artist colony.

A painting made there, A Street in Brittany, was shown and well received at the 1882 Royal Academy exhibition and sold later that year to the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool.
