1987 Australian Grand Prix

1987 Formula 3000 champion, young Italian Stefano Modena, replaced Patrese at Brabham to make his Formula One debut.

1988 Australian Grand Prix

Driveshaft failures accounted for the EuroBruns of Stefano Modena and Oscar Larrauri (Modena, who had stalled his car at the start of the parade lap and started from the back of the grid, had two spins).

By lap 23 he had a three second lead before coming up to lap the Eurobrun of Stefano Modena and the Ligier of notorious blocker René Arnoux.

1988 Formula One Indoor Trophy

EuroBrun had been represented by Oscar Larrauri and Stefano Modena during the season, but it was Fabrizio Barbazza, who had never driven a Grand Prix, who drove the car at the Indoor Trophy.

1989 Australian Grand Prix

The positions 4th–9th were filled with Italians with Japanese Grand Prix winner Alessandro Nannini fifth, Riccardo Patrese sixth, Stefano Modena doing well to come seventh, followed by the two Dallaras of Andrea de Cesaris ahead of team-mate Alex Caffi.

1989 German Grand Prix

Stefano Modena's third place and team mate Martin Brundle's sixth place finish at the Monaco Grand Prix resulted in the Brabham team no longer having to pre-qualify for the remainder of the season, while Alex Caffi's fourth place in the same race, as well as a sixth in Canada, meant the Italian would not have to pre-qualify his Dallara either.

1989 San Marino Grand Prix

The McLarens proceeded to pull away from the competition while behind them there was more drama as Stefano Modena put his Brabham into the wall rather violently, the Italian was unhurt.

Jordan Grand Prix

With Maurício Gugelmin and Stefano Modena driving, the team struggled badly and failed to score a point until the final race of the season.
